How can we believe that The Miz lost to Danhausen at Backlash Tampa 2026?
Like most WWE fans, I really didn't like this result at all. The Miz is a legend; remember, this is the same wrestler who debuted on SmackDown on September 1, 2006, and went undefeated for three months.
During those three consecutive months in 2006, some of the notable wrestlers he defeated include:
- Matt Hardy
- Funaki
- Scotty 2 Hotty
After that, on the November 22, 2010, episode of Raw, The Miz cashed in his Money in the Bank contract against Randy Orton to win the WWE Championship.
Then in 2011, at the main event of WrestleMania, this man defeated John Cena to retain his WWE title. That was the biggest match of his life.
Just look at Elimination Chamber 2021—he pinned Drew McIntyre to become the WWE Champion again after 10 years.
Then look at January 22, 2018; he won the Intercontinental Title from Roman Reigns and held onto it for a very long time.
Look at WrestleMania 34—what a brilliant triple-threat fight The Miz put up against Finn Bálor and Seth Rollins. Yes, he lost the match, but hardly anyone else could have fought the way he did.
WWE is full of many more of The Miz’s great achievements. However, I feel sorry for the WWE creative team because they didn't do right by Miz at Backlash 2026.
I felt terrible seeing Miz handled this way. How did you all feel? Let me know in the comments.
