It was the 2012 Survivor Series event when Roman Reigns made his first appearance on the WWE main roster. He was joined by two partners, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose. Together, the trio attacked Ryback during a triple threat match, which allowed CM Punk to pin John Cena and retain his WWE title.
At Extreme Rules on May 19, Roman Reigns won his first Tag Team Championship by defeating Team Hell No. At that time, Seth Rollins was Roman Reigns' partner.
