"Brock Lesnar is back—but wait, how? Does anyone actually return after retirement, and that too right in front of the very wrestler they admitted was the better man?
Brock Lesnar's sudden return on WWE RAW sent a massive shockwave through the fans. Nobody has any clue about the planning behind this; people are scrambling for reports and updates from one another on Twitter, Instagram, and other social media platforms.
According to WWE news and backstage reports, the reasons and future plans for Lesnar’s return are being laid out. Following his loss to Oba Femi at WrestleMania 43, Brock Lesnar had left his gloves and boots inside the WWE ring, and his name was even moved to the 'Retired' section on WWE's official website. Once his name hit the retired list, everyone was absolutely convinced that Brock would never return.
In reality, WWE itself had created Brock Lesnar's retirement scene as a storyline to deliver a massive shock to the fans. This is why, on the May 18, 2026 episode of RAW, Brock ambushed Oba Femi during his open challenge and hit him with a total of four F-5s!
According to some major websites, a match between Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi is set to be scheduled for Clash in Italy on May 31, 2026. However, as of now, Paul Heyman has only handed over the contract to Adam Pearce on Brock's behalf; it hasn't been officially confirmed yet. This contract is for a match between Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi, as Brock wants to take his revenge in a rematch.
Personally, I don't think this match will take place at Clash in Italy because this rivalry is going to reach a whole new level. A match like this fits much better at SummerSlam rather than Clash in Italy. That said, they might do a contract signing segment or some sort of face-to-face confrontation at Clash in Italy instead."
