"What position does Brock Lesnar hold in WWE, what achievements has he accomplished, how many streaks has he created, and the record of all WWE Titles—I have worked very hard to write this short article for you, please have a look."
(1). Brock Lesnar WWE Run: August 25, 2002 – November 17, 2002
Brock Lesnar's first WWE Championship run from August 25, 2002, to November 17, 2002, lasted a total of 84 days and is considered the greatest achievement of his rookie year.
In the main event of SummerSlam 2002, Brock Lesnar hit an F-5 and pinned The Rock, who was at the peak of his career. By winning the championship at just 25 years old, Brock Lesnar became the youngest WWE Champion in history. After his title win, Stephanie McMahon announced that Brock Lesnar would only defend the championship on SmackDown, which forced Raw to introduce a new World Heavyweight Championship.
The biggest rivalry of this run was with The Undertaker. Brock Lesnar defeated The Undertaker in his own most dangerous match—a brutal, bloody Hell in a Cell match—proving his absolute dominance. Then, at Survivor Series 2002, Brock Lesnar faced the 500-pound Big Show. During the match, Lesnar shocked the entire Madison Square Garden crowd by lifting Big Show for an F-5. As Lesnar watched the referee count the pin, his own manager, Paul Heyman, betrayed him and pulled the referee out of the ring. Taking advantage of this betrayal, Big Show hit Lesnar with a chokeslam, ending his 84-day undefeated title run.
(2). Brock Lesnar WWE Run: March 30, 2003 – July 27, 2003
Brock Lesnar's second WWE Championship run from March 30, 2003, to July 27, 2003, lasted a total of 119 days. This run was particularly special because, for the first time, Lesnar was champion as a babyface (hero).
In the main event of WrestleMania XIX (2003), Brock Lesnar defeated Kurt Angle in a spectacular match to win his second WWE Championship. In the final moments of the match, Brock Lesnar attempted a Shooting Star Press from the top turnbuckle, but he botched the landing and suffered a severe concussion. Despite the injury, he pushed through, hit an F-5, and secured the victory.
The first major title defense of this run was against a rising young star, John Cena, where Lesnar retained his championship by hitting an F-5. At Judgment Day 2003, Lesnar defeated Big Show in a Stretcher Match. Then, on the June 12, 2003 episode of SmackDown, Brock Lesnar hit Big Show with a Superplex off the top rope, and the sheer impact collapsed the entire WWE ring! This remains one of the most iconic moments in WWE history. Finally, in the main event of the Vengeance 2003 pay-per-view, Brock Lesnar defended his title in a Triple Threat match against Kurt Angle and Big Show. Kurt Angle, who had just returned from a neck injury, put on a masterclass performance. In the climax of the match, Angle delivered Angle Slams to both Brock Lesnar and Big Show, pinning Lesnar to win back the WWE Championship.
(3). Brock Lesnar WWE Run: September 16, 2003 – February 15, 2004
Brock Lesnar's third WWE Championship run from September 16, 2003, to February 15, 2004, lasted a total of 152 days. During this run, Lesnar turned heel (villain) once again and ruled SmackDown alongside Vince McMahon.
On a special episode of SmackDown, Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle faced off in a 60-Minute Iron Man Match, widely regarded as one of the greatest matches in WWE history. Lesnar deliberately hit Angle with a steel chair, sacrificing a point via disqualification, but ultimately defeated Angle with a final score of 5-4 to win the title for a third time. Later, with the assistance of Vince McMahon, Lesnar defeated The Undertaker in a dangerous Biker Chain Match. Hardcore Holly sought revenge because Lesnar had previously broken his neck with a suplex; however, at the 2004 Royal Rumble, Lesnar defeated him in just six minutes to retain his title. During that same Royal Rumble event, Brock Lesnar provoked Goldberg backstage. Later in the night, Lesnar invaded the Royal Rumble match and hit Goldberg with an F-5, causing Goldberg to get eliminated. This sparked their famous rivalry. Finally, in the main event of No Way Out 2004, Brock Lesnar defended his title against the ultimate underdog, Eddie Guerrero. In the closing moments of the match, while the referee was knocked out, Goldberg stormed the ring and hit Lesnar with a devastating Spear. Following this interference, Eddie Guerrero countered Lesnar's F-5 into a DDT, then scaled the top rope to deliver his iconic Frog Splash for the pinfall. This remains one of the most emotional and shocking victories in WWE history.
(4). Brock Lesnar WWE Run: August 17, 2014 – March 29, 2015
Brock Lesnar's fourth WWE World Heavyweight Championship run from August 17, 2014, to March 29, 2015, lasted a total of 224 days. This run is considered one of the most dominant in WWE history, as Brock Lesnar entered it fresh off breaking The Undertaker's legendary WrestleMania streak.
In the main event of SummerSlam on August 17, 2014, Brock Lesnar absolutely dismantled John Cena. Lesnar hit Cena with 16 German Suplexes throughout the match, leaving him completely helpless before finishing him off with an F-5 to capture the title. This match is remembered in WWE history as the birth of "Suplex City." A rematch with John Cena took place later, which ended in a disqualification (DQ) after Seth Rollins interfered, allowing Lesnar to retain the title. On January 25, 2015, a historic Triple Threat Match took place between Brock Lesnar, John Cena, and Seth Rollins. Despite suffering a broken rib during the match, Lesnar defeated both men to prove he was unstoppable.
In the main event of WrestleMania 31 on March 29, 2015, Brock Lesnar faced Royal Rumble winner Roman Reigns. Lesnar brutally beat Roman, and it was here that he uttered his famous catchphrase inside the ring: "Suplex City, Bitch!" However, Roman fought back, busting Lesnar open after sending his head into the ring post. Just as both wrestlers were completely exhausted, Seth Rollins came sprinting down to the ring with his Money in the Bank contract. The match was turned into a live Triple Threat match on the spot. Rollins hit Roman Reigns with a Curb Stomp and pinned him to steal the title. Brock Lesnar lost his championship without ever being pinned or submitting.
(5). Brock Lesnar WWE Run: April 2, 2017 – August 19, 2018
Brock Lesnar's Universal Championship run from April 2, 2017, to August 19, 2018, lasted a total of 504 days. This was the longest world title reign in modern WWE history (since 1988), breaking CM Punk's previous record of 434 days.
At WrestleMania 33 on April 2, 2017, Brock Lesnar defeated his old rival, Goldberg, in a short but incredibly intense match. Lesnar hit Goldberg with 10 suplexes and a final F-5 to win his first Universal Championship, avenging his loss from Survivor Series 2016. At Great Balls of Fire 2017, Samoa Joe gave Lesnar a very tough time, slamming him through a table before the match even officially started; however, Lesnar managed to hit an F-5 and retain his title. At SummerSlam 2017, Lesnar defended his championship in a Fatal 4-Way match against Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, and Samoa Joe. Strowman brutally put Lesnar through two announce tables, but Lesnar remarkably returned to the ring and pinned Roman Reigns to win. Later on, Lesnar faced WWE Champion AJ Styles in a non-title Champion vs. Champion classic, where Styles pushed Lesnar to his absolute limits, though Lesnar ultimately secured the victory. At the 2018 Royal Rumble, Lesnar retained his title by pinning Kane in a Triple Threat match that also included Braun Strowman.
His major rivalry with Roman Reigns continued at WrestleMania 34, resulting in a shocking victory. While everyone expected Roman Reigns to win the title, Lesnar hit Roman with six F-5s, busted him open, and shocked the world by retaining the championship. They faced off again at the Greatest Royal Rumble 2018 in Saudi Arabia inside a Steel Cage. During the climax, Roman hit Lesnar with a spear that broke the cage wall open. Since Lesnar hit the floor first, he legally retained the title. The end of the era came at SummerSlam 2018 on August 19, when Brock Lesnar faced Roman Reigns once more. Before the match began, Money in the Bank winner Braun Strowman stood at ringside, announcing he would cash in on whoever won. During the match, Lesnar attacked Strowman, threw his briefcase away, and hit him with a steel chair to prevent the cash-in. As Lesnar stepped back into the ring with the chair, Roman caught him with a devastating Spear and pinned him, bringing Lesnar's historic 504-day reign to an end.
(6). Brock Lesnar WWE Run: November 2, 2018 – March 7, 2019
Brock Lesnar's 156-day second Universal Championship reign was a crucial part of his "Beast" legacy. During this period, his biggest rival was Finn Bálor, and he had also recently surpassed his own record-breaking 390-day combined milestone for the championship.
At WWE Crown Jewel on November 2, 2018, this match was originally scheduled to be a Triple Threat between Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, and Brock Lesnar. However, after Roman Reigns was forced to relinquish the title due to his leukemia diagnosis, the match became a singles bout between Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman for the vacant championship. Before the match could even begin, Baron Corbin blindsided Braun Strowman, striking him from behind with the title belt. Capitalizing on this advantage, Brock Lesnar hit Strowman with five F-5s and pinned him to recapture the title. Later, at WrestleMania 35 in April 2019, Brock Lesnar faced Seth Rollins. Before the opening bell, "The Beast" launched a brutal, vicious pre-match assault on Rollins outside the ring. However, once the match officially started, the referee was temporarily knocked down. Seizing the opportunity, Seth Rollins hit Lesnar with a low blow, followed it up with three consecutive Stomps, and pinned Brock Lesnar to take the title away.
(7). Brock Lesnar WWE Run: July 14, 2019 – August 11, 2019
Brock Lesnar completed his third (3rd) Universal Championship reign for 28 days between the WWE Extreme Rules and SummerSlam events.
Brock Lesnar cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase immediately after the main event match of WWE Extreme Rules 2019. Champion Seth Rollins, who had just fought in an Extreme Rules match against Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans, was hit with two German suplexes and an F-5 by Lesnar, who then won the Universal Championship via pinfall. This run began with a surprise attack; Lesnar held the belt for a month but did not compete in any title defenses leading up to the biggest event of the summer. At WWE SummerSlam 2019, Lesnar defended his championship against Seth Rollins. In a tough and fast-paced match—where Rollins targeted Lesnar's ribs and delivered a frog splash through a table—Seth Rollins ultimately hit "The Stomp" to pin Brock Lesnar and win the title back.
(8). Brock Lesnar WWE Run: October 4, 2019 – March 25, 2020
Drew McIntyre defeated Brock Lesnar at WWE WrestleMania 36 on March 25, 2020, ending his 173-day title reign.
Lesnar had won the WWE Championship for a 5th time by defeating Kofi Kingston in just 8 seconds on a special episode of Friday Night SmackDown on October 4, 2019. During this title run, Brock Lesnar faced several challengers. On October 31, 2019, he defeated Cain Velasquez at WWE Crown Jewel. Following that, at Survivor Series on November 24, 2019, Lesnar defeated Rey Mysterio in a hardcore "No Holds Barred" match. The final title defense of his reign took place at the WWE Super ShowDown event on February 27, 2020, where he defeated Ricochet. Ultimately, his reign came to an end with his loss to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 36.
(9). Brock Lesnar WWE Run: January 1, 2022 – January 29, 2022
Brock Lesnar won this WWE Championship (his 6th reign) on January 1, 2022, at the WWE Day 1 event. His title run lasted 28 days, and he lost it to Bobby Lashley at the Royal Rumble on January 29, 2022.
Originally, Brock Lesnar was scheduled to fight Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship that night, but the match was canceled because Roman Reigns tested positive for COVID-19. After this, Lesnar was suddenly added to Big E's Fatal 5-Way WWE Championship match, which was set to take place at the WWE Day 1 (2022) event. Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, and Bobby Lashley were also part of this chaotic and abruptly put-together match. Lesnar defeated everyone and ultimately pinned Big E by hitting his devastating 'F-5' to become the new WWE Champion.
After 28 days, Lesnar's title defense took place against Bobby Lashley at Royal Rumble 2022. The closing moments of the match were filled with high drama when Roman Reigns interfered and hit Lesnar with a 'Spear'. Due to this interference and a betrayal by Lesnar's former advocate, Paul Heyman, Bobby Lashley pinned Lesnar and stripped him of the WWE Championship.
(10). Brock Lesnar WWE Run: February 19, 2022 – April 3, 2022
Brock Lesnar's 7th WWE Championship reign lasted for 43 days, running from February 19, 2022, to April 3, 2022. This special run began at the WWE Elimination Chamber event in Saudi Arabia, where he won the championship after entering as a surprise contestant.
At Elimination Chamber 2022, he defeated wrestlers like Seth Rollins, AJ Styles, Riddle, and Austin Theory, while the actual champion, Bobby Lashley, was removed from the match midway due to an injury. Following this victory, he set up a Champion vs. Champion 'Winner Takes All' match. This short title run came to an end on April 3, 2022, at WrestleMania 38 (Night 2), where he faced defeat at the hands of Universal Champion Roman Reigns. With this victory, Roman Reigns won both titles and made them "Undisputed."
